After declaring the results and raising his hand to cheers from supporters, Afamefune named Ogboru as the party’s flag bearer for the 2023 election.
After his affirmation, Ogboru remarked, “I thank you for the time and patience that allowed us to achieve what we did; I say I am tremendously and eternally thankful.”
“We’ve been on a long journey, and everything has a beginning must also have an end.” I want to think that we have reached the conclusion of our trip and that what we began many years ago must come to an end.
“But we will not go with a cry of despair, but with a yell of gladness.” I don’t want to go over the tumultuous history of what has occurred in Delta State.

“Thank you for bearing my sorrows and for keeping hope alive.” Looking at your faces, I sense hope, and I can assure you that lightning will never strike twice.” He continued.
