I Left The Church Because Of False Sermons & “Fake” Pastors – Gov. Kayode Fayemi’s Wife Says
One of the end-time indications the Body of Christ will witness, according to the Book of Revelation, is the invasion of false prophets with false teachings. This cannot be halted, but it may be avoided by consistently focusing on God’s Word. However, this is one of the reasons why many Christians have quit attending church. Among those who may have ceased attending church events as a result of this is Gov. Kayode Fayemi’s wife, Erelu Bisi Fayemi.
Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the First Lady of Ekiti State and a writer, has disclosed why she quit the church and other religious activities. She claims she doesn’t have time for church activities because she doesn’t believe men of God who speak when God hasn’t. “The church is a place for redemption,” she said, “but today, many people may miss Heaven because of certain fraudulent pastors with misleading lectures, and I don’t want to be part of that group.”
