Pastor Joseph Adelanke Adeyokunnu was born in Ilesa West of Osun State, Nigeria, to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Adeyokunnu.

He obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Ibadan; M.Sc. in Finance; MBA and Professional Doctorate Fellow (PDF) from the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (CICNG).
He is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), fellow of the Institute of Supervision and Leadership (ISL), Associate of the Chartered Institute of Commerce of Nigeria (CICNG).

He joined the service of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) in February 1998 and has served in various capacities as State Treasurer, National Auditor, Director of Finance, Financial Controller and currently as the Treasurer of the Mission.
He is an ordained full Pastor in RCCG who was, until recently, the Pastor-In-Charge of RCCG, Lagos Province 8 and Senior Pastor of RCCG, Master’s Place, Gbagada, Lagos. He is presently the Pastor-In-Charge of RCCG, Lagos Province 2, Israel Assembly, Ikeja, and the Assistant Pastor-In-Charge of RCCG, Region 19.
Pastor J.A. Adeyokunnu has affected many lives positively both within and outside the Mission. His contact with you will, no doubt, leave you better than he met you. As a man of integrity, he holds an Outstanding Christian Leaders Award of the Christian Coalition Against Corruption (CCAC). He is a seasoned Preacher, Motivational Speaker, Mentor, Coach and a Leader in words and action.
He is married to Pastor (Mrs.) Felicia Abosede Adeyokunnu, a Minister of the Gospel with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) and an Administrator. They are blessed with children.
